How do I watch my TV Boosts?
Web, Android and iOS
When you subscribe to a TV Boost, you will get access to one or more channels and in many cases, on-demand content too. You’ll find all the content that you can watch through each Boost within My TV. My TV splits each of your Boosts into tabs so that you can clearly see what content each Boost enables you to watch.
You can access My TV through the navigation bar at the top of the website or through the burger menu on iOS and Android.
TalkTalk TV box
For now, the TV box is the odd one out in that you’ll find the content your Boosts enable you to watch within the ‘My stuff’ area of ‘More TV’. Press the YouView button on your remote and select ‘More TV’. When the app loads, navigate to ‘My stuff’ in the menu and you’ll find your Boost content within.
This inconsistency of experience is something which we’ll be working on after launching the service.
Why can’t I watch more than one thing at a time on different devices?
Due to our agreements with the content providers, we’re not allowed to permit concurrent streaming across any two devices (except for the TalkTalk TV box which can always stream at the same time as other devices).
To put it simply, you can have one stream on your TV box and another one stream any one other device. After that, any attempts to start playback will be automatically blocked.
Why can I only watch on a limited number of devices?
The content providers have limited us to permitting four devices plus the TalkTalk TV box for using the service per account.
You can swap devices out but are restricted to one swap every thirty days. If you have lost access to some of your devices and need support accessing your content, please contact our customer services and we’ll work something out.
