A year ago, we became part of the TalkTalk family, and now we’re proud to have taken on the family name. That means blinkbox is now called TalkTalk TV Store. We’ve updated our logo, but you don’t need to worry about anything else changing. Your digital library will stay the same and you can still do all the things you love about your service:
- Find all the latest and greatest movies and TV shows
- Only ever pay for what you want to watch
- Enjoy on your TV, computer, tablet or smartphone

Does this mean I can now watch my existing content on my TalkTalk TV box?
Yes, for the majority of our movies and TV shows. To enable this functionality, you'll need to merge your account.
Does this mean I can now watch TalkTalk TV content on my TalkTalk TV Store devices?
Yes. To enable this functionality, you'll need to merge your account.
Do I still login with the same account details, or do I use my TalkTalk My Account?
If you're an existing customer, you’ll login with the same account details you’ve always used. If you're new, you can create a separate account or login using your TalkTalk My Account details. It's also possible to merge your accounts in the account section of our website.
I’m not a TalkTalk TV or broadband customer. Can I still use your service?
Yes - our service is open to everyone, whether you use us for your TV and broadband or not. Of course, if you’d like to join us, we’d love to have you.
What will show on my bank statement when I make a purchase?
You might start to see ‘TalkTalk’ appear on your bank statement rather than ‘blinkbox’.
What about your apps - are these still called blinkbox?
If you’re using a device where you can’t buy new content, the app will be called TalkTalk TV Player. If you’re using one where you can, it will be called TalkTalk TV Store. Only the name has changed, so you can continue to watch movies and TV shows offline and access your library as normal. Simple. Some of our apps might not be updated with our new name quite as quickly - don’t worry - they’ll still work the same way as always.
Why do some devices still have the blinkbox logo and name?
Good question! Some of our apps and devices (particularly our smart TVs and games consoles) won’t have the new branding straight away. There’s a few reasons for this - things like the amount of time it takes to develop updated applications and get them approved, and the way we have to submit and prioritise changes to our apps. Don’t worry though, as there’s no change at the moment, you can keep using these devices the same way as always.
