How do I update my Windows Phone software?
It’s always a good idea to have a recent version of Windows Phone installed, and our app requires version 8.1 or above. To update, follow the instructions on this page.
If your phone doesn’t have a software update option, you might need to plug it into your computer and update that way. Your device manufacturer will have all the details.
Unfortunately, it's not possible for Windows Phone 7 users to upgrade to Windows Phone 8.1, so these phones aren't supported.

Why do I see error 0x887a0004 on my Microsoft Lumia phone?
We’re aware of an issue with a small number of Microsoft Lumia phones, including the Microsoft Lumia 535, Nokia Lumia 735 and Nokia Lumia 830 which means you won’t be able to watch TalkTalk TV Player on your phone. It’s because these models of Lumia don’t fully support PlayReady, the technology we use to let you enjoy movies on TalkTalk TV Player.
The good news is that Microsoft are working on the issue and intend to release an over-the-air patch. Unfortunately, Microsoft have not yet announced when this patch will be available. We’re really sorry about any inconvenience this issue may cause you and hope that you’ll be able to use our Windows Phone app on your phone soon.
In the meantime, you can continue to enjoy TalkTalk TV Player movies and TV shows on all of our other supported devices.
