If you’ve seen the Italian Job, you’ll know that while schemes have bumps in the road, it’s often possible to fix them in the end. That’s why we’ve written this article about some of the most common issues on Xbox 360. For more information about downloading and using the app, please see our article about watching on Xbox 360.
Why can’t I use vouchers, credit or Movie and TV Cards on Xbox 360?
On Xbox 360, payments are made through your Microsoft account – so you can pay with a credit or debit card, or PayPal. Unfortunately, we’re not able to let you use voucher codes, pay with your TalkTalk TV Store credit or use a Movie and TV Card directly through the app. You can pay in all of these ways by visiting www.talktalktvstore.co.uk in any web browser, and then returning to the app to enjoy your purchases.
How can I avoid buffering?
If your internet connection changes speed suddenly, this can create buffering – which is where your video stops and starts unexpectedly. We’ve got some more information on broadband speeds and buffering here.
Why are some of the movies on my Xbox 360 locked and unplayable?
It sounds like console safety has been turned on for your Xbox 360, which will stop you from watching certain age-restricted content. Don’t worry, it’s really easy to switch this off:
- Go to Settings, and then Family.
- Select Off to turn off console safety.
You might need to enter a console safety pass code to make these changes. This is set on your Xbox, and isn’t your TalkTalk TV Store password.
